About
I am a recovering geologist who has been engaged in KM since 2001, when I began exploring the application of KM and digital technologies while at a major oil company. I’ve worked as a research scientist, a manager in research and strategic planning, a director of KM, as a consultant and as a university professor. I also have a side interest in photography and video….and have been a senior photographer for one of the leading magazines in the bike industry for several years.
I bring these diverse interests and background together to help people understand how they can use KM in its variety of facets from the use of communities, learning before, during and after to the use of E2.0 technologies and digital media to leverage what they and others know to improve their performance and the performance of their organization.

Allan – as one geologist to another – I think you might want to check your spelling of “facets” in the second paragraph!
